Reliving my youth - Nostalgia

There seems to be a resurgence of 80's remakes and such lately. Hollywood hasn't had an original idea in decades. And the 80's remakes are generally worse and ruin my memories of the subject matter. Well thanks to the power of the Internet I can relive my youth. Saturday mornings watching cartoons can be accomplished through youtube. Classics like the Littles, Rubik the Amazing Cube, or Saturday morning Supercade or an episode of the old Pac-Man cartoon. Or weekday afternoons watching M.A.S.K or G.I. Joe. You can even see some of the many commercials from that era.

This is especially fun to do while eating a bowl of Lucky Charms or another "kid" cereal. And once your breakfast is over, and the cartoons are done, waste some time playing your Atari 2600 just use the pull down menu at the bottom, and play a ton of your old favorites!

Feel like a night out at the movies? Then you can watch such films as Back to the Future, and more at http://www.alluc.org/
Ah if we could only go back to that time. When Regan economics made the gummi bears and money flow like water...

I love my car.

I have to remind myself it is paid for, lately it has been giving me lots of issues. I rattles now, misfires, and everytime I start it, it starts hard, and with a big puff of smoke....fun.

Future Generations will thank? us...

So, I went with my family to Wal-Mart recently, and since they renovated the property they put these cement pillars in front of the store to prevent vehicles from pulling up onto the curb in front of the store.

I got to thinking, "I wonder if we ever get our 'knowledge' of ancient civilizations wrong? And, if we get them wrong, what's to keep future mankind from mis-analyzing our civilization now?" For example; I wonder what the future mankind will think when they see a large husk of a building with a bunch of these pillars in front of it? I imagine they will hypothesize that it is a temple of a fertility god. (Hence the use of multiple phallic symbols.) And that our civilization in Ypsilanti, Mi worshiped a mans member, as there is a major monument in the heart of what used to be the city.
